Chapter 2: People Have Three Urgencies.
While practicing single-mindedness and dual-purpose, he attempted to walk out of this forest. Although he had heard the roar of beasts not long ago, he couldn’t let that stop him. He didn’t dare hope that someone would pass by this grass hut where no one had lived for a long time.
On the way out of the forest, Tyr tried many dual-tasking poses, sometimes running while the other walked slowly, sometimes one sitting while the other jumped, or even running in two different directions. However, the result simply amazed Tyr, who was agile and adept, as if controlling it effortlessly.
“Now is not the time for play,” Tyr remarked, observing the gradually darkening sky. He couldn’t shake the feeling that walking at night might invite trouble. However, he had unknowingly walked for over three hours from the original grass hut. Even if he turned back now, he couldn’t avoid the onset of night.
Suddenly, an urge to urinate struck. It seemed to be from the girl’s side, but Tyr himself also felt the need. With a resigned sigh, the young man looked at the stunning girl before him, determination shining in his eyes. It was a moment that had to come.
“Alright! Then let’s test the ultimate technique of multitasking!”
Relieve yourself.
Tyr’s attire was simple, making it easy for him to relieve himself. However, the construction of the girl’s clothing was complex, causing him a headache. Even after Tyr finished, the girl was still struggling with her garments.
Suddenly, the urge to urinate surged again like turbulent waves! The girl instinctively squeezed her legs together, her face flushing red. “No, this, this can’t go on like this, it’s getting dangerous.”
Tyr hurried over and helped the girl with her clothing. His anxious demeanor, if observed by an outsider, could easily be construed as criminal behavior.
Wave after wave, the urge to urinate rushed towards the lower body, and Tyr clearly felt that the girl’s legs could hardly support her anymore.
“Quick! Quick! Quick!” With his eyes bloodshot, Tyr seemed like a hungry wolf, showing no concern for the pain he caused the girl with his rough treatment.
At this point, the pain could no longer be ignored. This crisis could be said to be the biggest one for Tyr since he woke up.
The girl also sweated with anxiety, her beautiful black hair sticking damply to her forehead, her cheeks even redder, tears of urgency hanging from the corners of her eyes.
“No! I… I, Tyr, after waking up for such a short time, is this going to be my first time in life?! How shameful!”
“No!” The girl also cried out with a heart-wrenching scream, a sound that was incredibly distressing to hear.
Tyr still didn’t want to give up, inwardly cursing himself for not wearing a dress, but instead this strange and exotic attire. What was even more surprising was the remarkable resilience of this outfit.
“You bastard, loosen up, or I’ll have to resort to violence!” Tyr roared out in desperation, but in response to this, there came a strong and resounding roar!
“Beast! Stop it!”
Claude Hiller
The grandson of Duke Cyril, Claude, at the young age of nineteen, possessed a spirit that made peers and even adults take a step back in awe. Influenced deeply by the knightly origins of the Cyril Duke’s household, he was a man of noble knightly spirit.
With short golden hair and sharp, bright red eyes, he captivated most young women, with many even dreaming of him.
At this moment, Claude was leading a cavalry of three hundred men through the forest. Their battle-worn appearance indicated they had recently been through a major conflict, but the high spirits emanating from them hinted at the outcome of that battle.
“This time, thanks to Grandfather Laogeri, without you, those bandits would surely have escaped.” Claude sincerely thanked the elderly man beside him, but the one to speak first was a beautiful young woman with long red hair and a face full of beauty. She was dressed in a set of female light armor and rode a tall horse, giving off a strikingly heroic aura.
“Master Claude, you’re too modest. Even if Lord Laogeri hadn’t intervened, with the ambushes you set up on the outskirts, you could have rounded them up without a single one slipping through the net. Even the bounty head with a reward of a hundred thousand gold coins, the bandit leader, ‘Mountain Axe King,’ would have had no chance of escape!”
Following the red-haired girl’s lead was the elderly man beside Claude. His hair was snowy white, and his face bore many layers of wrinkles, yet it was not difficult to see the unparalleled charm of his youth still present today!
“That’s right. Master Claude is a rare genius in the hundred-year history of our Hiller family. This task could have been completed by Master Claude alone, but unfortunately, both the Duke and I couldn’t let go of our concerns. That’s why we insisted on accompanying him, doing some unnecessary things. Master, please don’t be too modest.”
“Grandfather Laogeri, Leia, all of you…”
Claude showed a helpless expression, then glanced at the elite knights behind him, numbering about three hundred, and gave a low growl.
“Spread the word, everyone did a great job this time. Each soldier will be rewarded with ten gold coins, and the squad leaders with fifteen! Let them keep up the good work!”
“Yes, sir!” An excited messenger relayed the orders to the knights behind him.
Upon hearing this news, the entire knight’s squad erupted into cheers and jubilation. Ten gold coins were a substantial reward. For a commoner to afford a day’s sustenance, they only needed twenty copper coins. Considering one gold coin equaled a hundred silver coins, and ten gold coins equaled a hundred thousand copper coins, it was enough to cover the expenses of the knights for a year or two.
Despite the deafening cheers behind her, the red-haired girl pouted.
“Master Claude doesn’t really need to give them so much gold coins, after all, this time it’s all thanks to you and Lord Laogeri.”
Claude maintained a faint smile and shook his head.
“That’s not right, Leia. Although this time it was indeed Lord Laogeri who put in the most effort, the knights of the Order will also face desperate counterattacks from the thieves, risking their lives. Their contributions are even greater than those of us who have better self-preservation abilities.”
“Oh, really~” Leia pouted in a noncommittal manner, appearing completely perplexed.
“Of course,” Claude extended his broad right hand, stroking Leia’s radiant hair, and spoke with a smile. “Certainly, our Knight Leia has also made significant contributions. In terms of strength, she’ll probably catch up to me soon.”
Leia obediently lowered her head, her cheeks flushing red. Luckily, it was dusk now; otherwise, if anyone saw Leia like this, it would be quite embarrassing.
“I, I don’t want verbal praise.”
Leia murmured, while Claude tilted his head looking somewhat puzzled. He was about to ask Leia if she wanted any substantial reward when a mournful sound came from not far away!
