Chapter 34: Dragon Slayer

“Mr. 123, just received a message, Miss Dragon Slayer is already on her way, she’ll probably arrive in a few minutes.” Harrytu’s reminder made Butterfly of Sunflowers breathe a sigh of relief, but she quickly realized something.

“Miss?”

“Everyone was taken aback. No one expected that such a powerful name belonged to a Miss.”

“So, we’ll just wait here for now.”

Tyr shrugged, but Zack wasn’t pleased.

“How can we let Mr. 123 stand here? Even if the counterpart is someone of equal status, it’s still unacceptable to be so rude!”

“Ah, it’s okay, it’s okay, Zack, don’t get worked up,” Tyr waved his hand, thinking to himself, “Zack, you’re really too passionate about this.”

However, Wind Slash Ghost was the first to react. He promptly brought a chair from the front desk and placed it next to Tyr, saying, “Please have a seat, senior!”

“Um… ” Tyr was dumbfounded. Was this necessary? But seeing the hopeful expressions on their faces, he reluctantly sat down, albeit feeling somewhat awkward.

As soon as he sat down, Tyr immediately attracted the attention of many people. Upon closer inspection, it was evident that a young man sitting on a chair while being surrounded by a group of senior mercenaries standing respectfully must hold significant authority.

“Umm…” Tyr, suddenly feeling the weight of many gazes upon him, uttered a restless contemplation. However, Zack, mistaking Tyr’s discomfort, immediately rebuked him.

“Why haven’t you brewed tea for Mr. 123 yet! Do you think it’s easy for him to come all this way!”

“Oh. No, I don’t need tea…” Tyr thought he had just crossed a street, but his hesitant demeanor made Zack suddenly realize something. He admonished him once again.

“Get some wine! Hurry up and get some wine!”

“Okay, okay.” Wind Slash Ghost still reacted the fastest. Although he felt very unhappy with Zack’s scolding, it was their duty to serve their seniors when they were thirsty. With a swift movement, he brought a bottle of red wine from the front desk, and seemingly out of nowhere, a glass appeared in his hand. He poured a full glass of wine with a ‘glug glug’ sound.

“Please drink, senior!”

“Um, this red wine seems very familiar…” Harrytu’s face gradually turned pale as he looked at the bottle of red wine that he had been cherishing for years, now missing from the front desk. He felt heartbroken, but since it was Tyr who wanted to drink it, he couldn’t just roar in anger on the spot.

“Uh…”

What’s going on with this? Once again, Tyr was dumbfounded. What kind of play were Zack and Wind Slash Ghost acting out? With the wine glass in his hand, filled just moments ago, and surrounded by hopeful gazes, Tyr could only reluctantly drink the red wine.

“Great tolerance!” Zack shouted from the side, nearly causing Tyr to spit out the wine in shock.

Seeing a wine stain at the corner of Tyr’s mouth, Butterfly of Sunflowers gathered her courage, took out a clean handkerchief from her luggage, and bowed, offering it with both hands.

“Um… please use this, senior.”

“......” Tyr could only describe it as being pleasantly surprised. However, since it was the other party’s kindness, he couldn’t refuse it. Besides, he couldn’t bear the hopeful gazes of the people around him!

“Thank you very much. I’ll wash it and return it to you afterwards.”

“No, please, senior, treat it as a disposable napkin. Use it and throw it away.” Butterfly of Sunflowers quickly waved her hand, appearing hesitant to take back the handkerchief.

Ouch, that hurt. Tyr’s fragile heart was kicked hard, implying that he was too disgusting to use something that had been used by him. Seeing through this implication, Tyr couldn’t help but feel a bit sad.

Little did anyone know, Butterfly of Sunflowers was pleasantly surprised to hear that the senior would even wash it and return it to her personally. That’s when she nervously and hastily spoke those words.

“Cough, well, let’s see… the time. Dragon Slayer Miss should be arriving soon, right?” Tyr cleared his throat and shifted the topic to others, while Harrytu also responded timely.

“Yes, look, there she is,” Harrytu said.

Everyone turned their gaze, only to see a petite blonde girl standing there. Though undeniably a beauty, her incomplete development gave her a sense of imperfection. Of course, for some with specific preferences, she might be considered mature beyond her years.

“Harrytu, are you sure you’re referring to her?” Tyr pointed to the small girl who barely reached his chest, his expression mirroring the surprise of the others.

“Yes, yes. The division head did mention her.” Harrytu seemed equally taken aback, staring at the small girl walking towards them.

“And Miss Dragon Slayer’s strength is at the intermediate level of Breaker, which matches the information.”

“Intermediate level Breaker? Such a young girl!?”

This revelation sent another shockwave through everyone present, with even the senior mercenaries showing disbelief.

“Oh, but the division head mentioned that Dragon Slayer Miss is apparently twenty-seven years old.”

The unexpected remark caused the innocent-looking girl, Dragon Slayer, to choke for a moment, and she angrily exclaimed.

“That rascal Tiska, he even wants to mention my age!”
