Chapter 49: Conclusion
“After Mages finished speaking, he walked to the window, pushed it open, and with a single leap, flew out.”
That’s right! Flying it is. As a “Celestial” level powerhouse, he possessed unimaginable strength, one of which was the ability to hover and fly.
“Grazing past the astonished and awed gazes of his soldiers on the ground, Mages, like a bullet, dashed through the blockade line and flew towards the depths of the tunnel. The wind pressure generated by his speed caused a gale to sweep through the entire encampment.”
“Not long after, another man also soared into the air, swiftly catching up to Mages at a speed not much slower than his.”
“Oh my, what’s happening with the army commander and the first regiment commander? Could something major be happening inside the tunnel?”
“Shh, this isn’t something we can discuss. Without orders from above, pretend you didn’t see anything, got it?”
“But who would’ve thought that the first regiment commander is actually this powerful? To think he can stand shoulder to shoulder with the army commander as a ‘Celestial’ level individual.”
“Stand shoulder to shoulder? Captain Marlon was personally trained by the Commander, they can’t even be compared!”
As everyone was discussing fervently, the first legion stationed at the encampment began to cross the blockade one after another, marching in perfect formation towards the depths.
The furrow between Mages’ eyebrows remained tight, as the location of the magical disturbance seemed to be vaguely related to that place.
That place that was repeatedly warned against by superiors yet couldn’t be approached.
“Commander!” Suddenly, a voice from behind sounded with a tone of deep respect.
“Marlon, is that you?” Mages glanced back, slightly slowing down his flight speed to allow Marlon to catch up, until both were flying at the same level before accelerating.
“Commander, upon careful observation, this magical aura seems rather immature. It should be from a fifth or sixth level ordinary magical creature. It shouldn’t cause any harm to that place.”
“Indeed, but just to be safe, it’s better to eliminate it. Besides, I’m curious how it managed to get in.”
“......I remember, didn’t the Demon King attack from the outer wall a month ago?”
“That was the Demon King, possessing terrifying magical power capable of shattering entire mountains with a single blow! But fifth or sixth-level magical creatures wouldn’t stand a chance.”
“No matter how we speculate, once we get there, we’ll know everything.”
“Yes.”
The Ogre King is extremely angry. As the supreme ruler of this region, who else dared to touch it besides the Ogre Lord that once injured it? Yet today, it was almost killed by two insects that should have been considered food, a great humiliation that is hard to erase.
Perhaps it was because it had become a fifth-level magical creature that its hazy consciousness could now calmly ponder questions. Many things it had done in the past now seemed incredibly foolish.
Its sense of smell has been heightened to the extent that it can relentlessly pursue and hunt down those two pests. It is confident that it can track them down and crush them to pieces, no matter where they flee to!
“Mwah Mwah!!”
That was a roar of excitement for becoming so powerful!
Suddenly, magical energy enveloped its entire body, and the terrifying power caused the entire tunnel to tremble.
The Ogre King’s size was immense, and as it sprinted at full speed, it had already arrived at the location indicated by its sense of smell.
There is a human fortress here, but it hasn’t detected the presence of a large number of humans. It must be an empty fortress, which reassures the ogre. After all, the great ogre god has warned them that one human is food, two humans are also food, but ten, a hundred, a thousand humans are poison strong enough to kill them instantly.
Yet, this relaxed ogre was completely unaware that two pairs of sharp eyes had already seized this opportunity.
“Attack!”
It was still Dragon Slayer who gave the signal. The timing of their attacks could be described as precise to the split second. Whether it was the speed at which they burst out from cover or the execution of their strikes, everything was perfectly synchronized!
“Slash!”
“Kill!”
Silent until now, but now resounding! This was a strike that almost depleted all of Tyr’s strength. Compared to the flashy second move of the Heart of the Sky Sword, Tyr chose to channel all his power into the first move. The originally dazzling white light now faintly turned blue, and the air emitted a mournful hum because of this strike. Meanwhile, Dragon Slayer’s punch, which was no weaker than Tyr’s attack, was a strike that could be called the master of fist techniques. It had no name, only the terror of injecting all his strength into it. It roared like a lion’s roar in response to Tyr’s slash!
A truly uncompromising pincer attack. This was a strike that could be called an absolute kill!
The Ogre King felt an uncontrollable rage rising within itself. Again, it was these two pests! How dare they counterattack! Clearly, it was powerful enough to crush them completely, yet they still had the audacity to ambush it here! This was the greatest insult to the Ogre King!!
Roar!!
In a roar, the Ogre King’s already massive twenty-meter body size surged again, booming to a staggering thirty meters!
Boom! Boom!
Two attacks slammed into its body simultaneously, but the martial techniques, which originally posed terrifying damage, failed to pose a fatal threat after the Ogre King’s frenzy!
“......” Tyr’s expression darkened. This guy was even larger than before, and the amount of magical energy had become even more intense.
Tricky, Tyr realized this clearly. If he had been at full strength from the beginning, perhaps he could have defeated the Ogre King in its frenzied state, but now he had little energy left…
“That’s enough!” The Dragon Slayer, with the petite figure of a little girl, spoke impatiently. Her expression was blank as she fearlessly faced the terrifying ogre before her.
“I thought it was a simple matter, but I didn’t expect to be deceived by Tiska,” she continued, her voice steady.
The blonde girl raised her right hand, and five bright rings on her fingers gleamed conspicuously. Slowly, she removed the iron ring from her pinky finger, and like falling into a slumber, she closed her eyes gradually.
Though the Ogre King felt perplexed, Dragon Slayer’s calm demeanor in the face of its immense power made it very unhappy! With a roar, its fist, like a meteorite from outer space, accompanied by bursts of explosive energy, crashed towards Dragon Slayer!
Crash!
As stones scattered and dust filled the air, Tyr squinted his eyes, not worried about the Dragon Slayer, as the opponent possessed the divine technique known as the “Heart Armor”! However, when he saw the scene before him, his eyes widened in shock, unable to believe what he was witnessing!
“It’s time to end this farce.
A young girl in the dust and mist said so.
