Chapter 67: Lift the Clothes!
The majority of the members of the Phylin tribe were currently enslaved against their will due to the world’s unfair treatment. However, a small percentage possessing exceptional abilities avoided enslavement.
Despite this, these Phylin tribe members, including Yueluo, inevitably face discrimination in their daily lives.
Yueluo, after learning about a town in the Wind Veil Basin that needed a blacksmith, hesitated before deciding to go to Fengniao Town with Doran.
If Yueluo chose to live in Fengniao Town, he must give up everything he had established in the Gray Iron City. He spent countless hours establishing himself in the human city. Now, asking him to give up these hard-earned accomplishments and go to a town of uncertain authenticity was truly difficult.
However, after much contemplation, he ultimately chose to help his fellow Phylin.
The Phylin tribe establishing a town—such a thing seemed like a miracle.
The last similar miracle was the Phylin tribe’s kingdom, but unfortunately, that kingdom had already been destroyed. What led Yueluo to make this decision were the memories of being with his fellow tribe members in his mind.
The noisy commotion might be annoying to humans, but for Yueluo, it was a precious thing.
“I go by the name of Yueluo,” he spoke, giving a pat to the hammer at his waist, “a genuine and skilled blacksmith.”
Yueluo had absolute confidence in his forging skills because if his craftsmanship wasn’t outstanding, he wouldn’t have been able to establish himself in the Gray Iron City.
The Phylin tribe members were shocked to learn that Yueluo was one of their own.
“Hurry, tell Mr. Susua! We’ve got a Phylin blacksmith here with a cool name!” Shouted Loloan from behind.
“No need, take me to meet this Mr. Susua you mentioned,” Yueluo said directly.
Doran’s business in Fengniao Town didn’t concern him. He just wanted to know if Fengniao Town was worth staying in.
Just by glancing at the environment of Fengniao Town, he could tell that the conditions there were tough.
At that moment, he asked himself—Is it worth abandoning everything to come to this place and help other Phylin?
“I’ll take you to meet Mr. Susua, follow me,” Susuan said, pushing aside the other Phylin tribe members and standing before Yueluo.
Yueluo didn’t say anything, either. He silently followed Susuan as they left.
The term “Old Man” has a unique meaning for the Phylin tribe. It doesn’t refer to a leader but signifies greatness. It doesn’t denote a leader, but someone revered and great. There aren’t many individuals among the Phylin tribe who are addressed as “Old Man” with such respect.
As Ron watched the moon set and Susuan left, a look of bewilderment was written on his face.
“So, what about my blacksmith?” He couldn’t help but ask.
“I can’t give you an answer on that,” Doran chuckled, “It all depends on the blacksmith’s own will.”
Ron temporarily gave up thinking about the blacksmith and said directly. After all, purchasing goods from Doran was also an important matter.
At this moment, Leku on the carriage finally spoke, “Why do you want to send gold?”
Upon hearing Leku’s question, Ron couldn’t help but glance at Doran, seemingly wanting to know Leku’s identity.
“This person also wanted to come and look at Fengniao Town, so I gave him a ride,” explained Doran.
Doran wasn’t particularly clear about Leku’s situation; Leku had revealed very little information during the journey.
“Well, it was okay before. It went quite smoothly,” Ron said. It felt like Leku was just nitpicking.
“But now there are also humans among the townspeople of Fengniao Town. Distributing gold easily could lead to problems,” Leku advised.
Leku noticed the scar on Ron’s neck, and his movement stopped. That scar… it looked as if someone had tried to behead him.
“The Phylin people do have an honest character. There was no problem with what you did before,” Leku said. “I would say it was quite appropriate.”
“But haven’t you considered the issue with people?” Leku questioned Ron’s approach.
Lilian intervened, using a stick to stop Leku, “Sir, what do you think you’re doing?”
Ron was lost in thought about Leku’s words and didn’t notice that Leku had circled behind him.
Leku suggested that Ron personally purchase goods and have the townspeople of Fengniao Town exchange their labor for what they received.
“What’s your name?” Ron asked, intrigued by Leku’s suggestion.
“I’m Leku,” he replied.
Ron took note of this name. This guy is simply the best assistant for the Streetlight Demon.
“By the way, do you want to live in Fengniao Town?” Ron suddenly asked.
“I forgot to introduce myself. Hello, I am the official sent by Lady Mercury for administrative affairs,” Leku said, hinting at a detailed explanation later. “But first, please have the financial manager purchase these things.”
