Chapter 110: Standing Unbeaten
“......” The leader’s face grew even paler, with a struggle evident in his eyes. However, Tyr had no patience to wait any longer for someone. With a solemn expression, he spoke.
“Since you’re hesitating so much, I’ll make the decision for you.”
Before the words had even finished, Tyr’s longsword had pierced through the leader’s heart.
“Impossible!”
The leader’s pupils contracted. How could this be at human speed! He struggled to lift his left hand and grabbed onto the sword tightly, letting out a final roar!
“Luca, Balida! Seize the opportunity now!!”
However, only Balida charged forward. Tyr remained unmoved, releasing his grip on the sword and swiftly stepping back to dodge. Then, a black, silent figure seemed to be summoned from another dimension, striking Balida’s head forcefully. The sound of the impact immediately echoed, and brain matter and blood scattered everywhere.
Tyr flicked off the blood from his sword, his gaze turning towards another figure, Luca, who had yet to make a move.
“I, I’ll talk!!” Luca cried out in anguish. Faced with such a monster, he had no choice. The leader, barely clinging to life, pointed at Luca as if about to roar, but ultimately collapsed lifelessly to the ground.
“......” Tyr remained silent, but not immediately killing Luca was the clearest response.
“It’s Dimidar! He is the son of the Duke of the Karamo Duchy!”
“I see. Now you can leave.”
“Yes, yes.” Luca breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he had escaped, only to be suddenly struck by a spear that tore through his abdomen, killing him instantly and silently.
“Useless trash,” the voice echoed as a man with short green hair, clad in flowing robes, landed lightly on the stage. Behind him, a grim-faced old man exuded a formidable aura, akin to that of a lion or tiger.
“It seems this person is Dimidar.” Tyr murmured to himself. What made his expression change slightly was the elder behind him. Judging from the terrifying aura of Qi emanating from him, it was obvious that he was a peak [Celestial Emperor] level powerhouse.
“What? Trying to use your influence to pressure me?” Tyr smiled faintly, the sarcasm evident in his tone. Dimidar snorted coldly, reaching out his hand, and the spear that had already flown far away immediately turned back into his hand.
“Do you think you need influence to deal with you? Do you not know the consequences of offending Lord Simira?”
“Consequences? Are you referring to them?” Tyr glanced at the corpses around him and continued.
“It’s indeed good to perform in front of Lord Simira, but first, you need strength and determination.” Tyr glanced again at the elder behind him.
“I don’t need influence. What does the person behind you mean?”
“You’re not qualified to ask. Just die already.” Dimidar gripped his spear with both hands, taking a step forward, his entire body swiftly advancing like an arrow released from a bow, and in the blink of an eye, he was beside Tyr!
“Your footwork is good.” Tyr stood still in place, allowing Dimidar to approach. Finally, just as Dimidar was about to attack, Tyr’s black greatsword flashed in his hand.
However, Dimidar knew that his spear would reach Tyr before Tyr’s sword could strike! If things continued like this, Tyr would surely die in the end!
Unfortunately, Dimidar, who didn’t learn his lesson, was blinded by Tyr’s footwork. His spear, which should have already pierced Tyr’s abdomen, missed due to Tyr’s elusive and mesmerizing myriad of evasive techniques.
The next moment, Tyr had already appeared behind Dimidar.
“What?!” Dimidar was shocked beyond measure. The perspective from the sidelines was completely different from experiencing it firsthand. However, Tyr didn’t immediately make a move, because the elder at the emperor level was glaring at him. If he made any overly aggressive moves, he might be struck by thunder.
At this moment, he didn’t have the capital to fight against an emperor-level expert.
“Get out of here. If it weren’t for him, you would already be dead.”
“… ” Dimidar’s face darkened. What the other party said was true, but he felt extremely stifled in his heart. After all, he couldn’t use his marksmanship, and all sorts of martial arts were stifled in their infancy. In Dimidar’s eyes, Tyr’s overall strength was nothing special, but it was his terrifying and bizarre body techniques that made him instantly unbeatable.
