Laogeri’s warning words made Yuehai break out in a cold sweat because what he said was true, evident from his gaze. If he were to rebel, the treatment he might receive wouldn’t be as simple as what his senior brother Daven received back then.
“Yes, a disciple will never betray the Duke’s mansion!”
Yuehai’s solemn declaration eased Laogeri’s furrowed brow considerably. He smiled as he walked over to her, gently stroking her head with his generous palm.
“As long as you don’t betray the Duke’s mansion, I will cover for the issues you revealed in today’s competition. I just hope you can grow up soon.”
“Master, I… ”
“What is it?”
“Nothing, it’s nothing…”
Regarding the imminent attack on the Duke’s mansion by Milik, Yuehai chose to remain silent. After all, the matter was of great importance, and she couldn’t risk exposing Tyr because of it.

“Yes, the disciple takes his leave.”
“Lord Yuehai, you’ve come out.” Noah waited outside the magic hall for Yuehai, and upon seeing her, he immediately greeted her.
Yuehai sighed inwardly, realizing that this tag-along seemed impossible to shake off now.

“Let’s go.”

Yuehai watched Noah’s departing figure and couldn’t help muttering to herself, “Maybe you all will die because of Milik’s attack. It would be better if I didn’t say anything at all…”
But that would expose her identity, and the danger would turn towards Yuehai herself.
“This kind of thing must be avoided at all costs, even if it means the entire Duke’s mansion will be ruined…”
“Yuehai.” A clear and familiar voice sounded behind Yuehai. She turned her head and couldn’t help but smile as she looked at the person.

Leia turned away from Yuehai and looked up at the cold starry sky. “Take a walk with me,” she said.
“……” Yuehai nodded but didn’t say anything. She jogged to Leia’s side, and the two walked side by side.
The moonlight scattered, and even at night, the servants of the Duke’s mansion did not rest. Yuehai knew they worked in shifts, so it wasn’t as tiring as one might imagine.
The same was true for the magic district, and the other areas were even more bustling, especially the side branch area, which was the largest area of all, providing for countless side branch lives. The bustling trade street there was extraordinary; basically, everything one needed could be traded for there, provided you could afford it.
Although the martial arts district wasn’t as bustling as the side branch area, it still had a lively atmosphere compared to the magic district. Many burly men practiced in the martial arts arena with their bare arms. The ever-burning stones placed around illuminated the entire arena. Inside, warriors exuded vigor, with varying levels of strength and martial skills. Nevertheless, they all conversed happily. Sometimes, even Emperor-level experts would appear to give some guidance. Despite the vast difference in strength, Yuehai couldn’t sense any barriers between them.
In the military district, idle people were not allowed to enter, indicating that all military supplies and troops were housed there. Yuehai could probably enter with a brief request, but neither of them was interested.
Eventually, the silent pair arrived at the core area.
“Yuehai, what do you think of Lord Claude’s…”
“?” Yuehai raised an eyebrow, thinking, “After all this silence, Leia suddenly brings this up?”
“It seems like you really don’t understand…” Leia muttered to herself, her low spirits making Yuehai feel uncomfortable.
“Sister Leia, I’m a bit dense in many aspects, so if there’s something you must say, you need to say it clearly to my face for me to provide an answer.”
…Silence again. Leia finally shook her head. She wanted to ask clearly, but obviously she didn’t have the courage.
“It’s nothing, just feeling a bit uncomfortable. Thank you, Sister Yuehai, for accompanying me for a walk. I feel much better now.”
“It’s okay… As long as Sister Leia can be a little happier.”
Despite saying this, Yuehai didn’t feel any change in Leia’s downcast mood.
Perhaps it’s her time of the month. Well, this kind of thing can only be dealt with by oneself. Yuehai clenched her fist, recalling how lost and helpless she felt when facing similar situations before.
