Yesterday is boring, today is boring, tomorrow is boring, good storys are never boring!

Shut up, malevolent dragon! I don’t want to have any more children with you V2C23

Chapter 23: Ahh ahh

“Hey, hey, did you see that? His Majesty and the Prince are working together over there!”

“Wow, really? I’ve never seen them sitting together on the throne before.”

“It looks like they’re going to need to get a bigger throne made.”

“When did they start? This morning?”

“Yeah, this morning. They’ve been glued together all day! Ugh, I only just found out before quitting time! If only I had applied to work as a cleaner at the temple today, I could have watched for hours!”

“… …”

The maids hid in a corner of the Silver Dragon Temple, secretly watching the royal couple.

The chances of Her Majesty and the Prince appearing together on screen weren’t actually that high.

Most of the time, one of them would be handling affairs in the temple while the other looked after the children in the backyard. But today, they not only spent the whole day together but even worked on matters together.

It’s clear that the relationship between Her Majesty and the Prince is heating up again, getting even closer!

Fans of the couple could always imagine various emotional dramas based on a single scene.

Whether the emotions between Rosvitha and Leon have warmed up is not up for discussion for now, but their thrones definitely have heated up under them.

Rosvitha and the maid from earlier were right; they really should get a bigger throne.

The maids, huddled in the corner, continued secretly shipping the CP, when suddenly, they heard the voice of the head maid behind them,

“Why are you all gathered here instead of finishing your duties?”

“Head Maid? Shhh~~~” One of the little maids made a shushing gesture and waved Anna, who had arrived late, over.

Anna, not understanding, still walked over and looked in the direction the little maid was pointing, and then she too widened her eyes in surprise.

“They’re really getting close…” Anna whispered in amazement.

“Head Maid, didn’t you come to the sanctuary today? Did you just see this too?” the little maid asked.

“Mm, I was out inspecting the border today, just got back.”

Pausing for a moment, the usually stern Head Maid couldn’t help but mutter begrudgingly, “If I had known, I would have stayed in the sanctuary today…”

Hearing this, the little maids breathed a sigh of relief. They had thought Anna would scold them for not working diligently and only focusing on shipping the CP.

To their surprise, the Head Maid turned out to be the biggest CP fan.

Maybe they should rename the maid team to something like “Lady Melkvi and Mr. Casmode’s Premier Support Group.”

At this moment, on the throne, Rosvitha glanced at the setting sun outside the window. The sun was about to go down.

She put away the documents she hadn’t finished dealing with and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “Let’s call it a day.”

“Oh, okay.”

The two stood up together.

As Rosvitha exhaled a sigh of relief, she caught sight of the group of people in the corner of the sanctuary out of the corner of her eye.

The maids, realizing they had been spotted, immediately dispersed at lightning speed.

Only Anna was left standing there in confusion.

Wha-what… How are you all so good at running away! You must be slacking off a lot during work to ship the CP, right?!

“Anna.”

The Queen’s voice echoed in the vast Silver Dragon Sanctuary.

Anna immediately pulled herself together, nodding slightly and responding respectfully, “Yes, Your Majesty.”

“How did the border inspection go?”

“Very smoothly. Everything is normal at the border. I will submit the inspection report to you tomorrow, Your Majesty.”

“Good, go and rest.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

Anna breathed a sigh of relief, but just as she turned around, before she could even take a step, she heard Rosvitha call out to her, “Wait, Anna.”

“Is there anything else, Your Majesty?” Anna asked.

Rosvitha’s gaze seemed slightly unfocused as she glanced at Leon beside her, then back at Anna, trying to keep her voice as calm as before, “The Prince and I were just working together, that’s all.”

Anna blinked, feeling a bit bewildered. “Um… yes, I understand, Your Majesty.”

“It really is just work.”

“Yeah… Your Majesty doesn’t need to explain to me.”

In fact, Anna wanted to add “I understand” at the end of her sentence. But after a moment of hesitation, she gave up those three words.

Because at this moment, Rosvitha seemed slightly flustered, and if Anna were to add “I understand” after implying something, wouldn’t that be like pushing Rosvitha to reveal more?

Even though Anna considered this so carefully, Rosvitha’s icy expression was starting to crack a bit.

Darn it.

She just wanted to casually explain why she and Leon were sitting together. She wasn’t using work as an excuse to be close to the Prince. They were just working together, just working, just working!

…But why did it seem like things were getting worse the more she explained?

Leon gently tugged at her sleeve from behind, lowering his voice. “Stop talking. If you keep going, your maids will start imagining even more emotional dramas.”

Rosvitha sighed helplessly, closing her eyes and shaking her head before adjusting her demeanor. “Very well. Anna, go rest, we’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

Anna nodded respectfully, then turned and left.

Rosvitha breathed a sigh of relief, glancing back at Leon. “Let’s go back too. It’s time to prepare dinner for our daughters.”

“Mm.”

At the dinner table, Leon held Little Light in his arms, feeding her nutritious milkshake spoon by spoon. The little one had already grown teeth, so in a few days, she should be able to eat some solid food.

While amazed at the speed of the dragon girl’s growth, Leon still found time to say, “Little Light, say ‘daddy.'”

“Ahh ahh~”

It was the familiar babble again.

Leon wasn’t sure if “ahh ahh” meant “daddy,” but judging by the number of syllables, it probably wasn’t.

Rosvitha leisurely ate her dinner, raising her gaze to the father-daughter duo. “You really want Little Light’s first word to be ‘daddy’?”

“Tch, it’s not a matter of whether I want it or not.”

The Queen raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Then what is it?”

“It’s that Little Light’s first word has to be ‘daddy,’ regardless of what I want.”

The confidence of the typical stubborn man made Rosvitha want to roll her eyes all the way to the heavens.

Fool, you didn’t even realize I kept you distracted all day, she thought smugly, then said, “We’ll see. Little Lights first word will definitely be ‘mommy.'”

With that, Rosvitha leaned forward, reaching out to pinch Little Light’s tail. “Right, Little Light? Say mommy, mom~my~”

And in response, Little Light’s answer remained the same, “Ahh ahh~”

Alright, it seemed in baby talk, “ahh ahh” was neither for daddy nor mommy.

Listening to their parents argue, Muen suddenly lifted her little head. “Why can’t it be ‘big sister’ first? Little Light, say big sister!”

“Ahh ahh~”

“Mommy, is Little Light a parrot?” Muen asked seriously.

Rosvitha scratched her head, chuckling. “Ahaha, maybe she can only say that one phrase for now.”

With her big pink eyes, Little Light looked at her beautiful mommy, then at her daddy holding her, then at her elder sister who wasn’t much older than her, and finally—

“Ahh ahh~”

It’s nice when subordinates support their boss in things unrelated to the job like relationships

It seems like EVERYONE is supporting their relationship. From family to subordinates to strangers. They must really attract a lot of attention or they just are that perfect for each other.
