Chapter 98: Is this your attitude?

After putting on the false face and mask, Tyr returned to the dormitory. Seeing Kagura Xiaoqi and Constantine doing their own things as if nothing had happened, he couldn’t help but sigh and headed straight to the bathroom.

After Tyr entered the bathroom, Kagura Xiaoqi and Constantine, who had been pretending to be indifferent, glanced at each other as if silently sighing.

This time, when Tyr entered the bathroom, he placed the Shadowstone beside him, fearing that Pandora might strike again at this moment. After all, the feeling of coming out of the bath was never pleasant.

Unfortunately, Pandora hasn’t harassed him with the Shadowstone these past few days, making his efforts in vain.

Lying in the bathroom, Tyr looked up at the ceiling.

Well, that’s it. Anyway, he only has this much skill. It doesn’t matter if he can’t dominate below the level of a monarch. Some people can’t even become a vanguard. He should be proud enough.

Anyway, all the skills he learned are from others. Being able to use them to this extent is already good enough.

Well, that’s it. Even if others say he has fallen, or if his few followers surpass him in the future, it will only be a moment of sadness.

Tyr thought to himself, feeling his eyelids gradually grow heavy, and then he completely closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Well, that’s it. Ultimately, he only has this much ability.

When he woke up, it was already past three in the morning of the next day. Surprisingly, Constantine and Kagura Xiaoqi didn’t wake him up. Wouldn’t it be very unfair if he accidentally drowned?

When he walked out of the bathroom, Constantine and Kagura Xiaoqi were already asleep. It was still raining heavily outside, with occasional flashes of lightning and thunder. In such an environment, it was very easy to fall asleep.

But Claude was nowhere to be seen. Thinking of what Claude said yesterday, Tyr couldn’t shake off a sense of ominous foreboding. He couldn’t quite articulate it, but the thought lingered in his mind, unsure of when he could let it go.

Despite his thoughts, the fatigue of the day had already worn him out. Taking advantage of the remaining time, he decided it was best to get some more sleep. Tyr walked to his large bed, took off his shoes, pants, and school uniform, and then pulled back the covers, crawling under them completely.

Recalling the events of the day, Tyr couldn’t help but pull the covers over his head and fell into a deep sleep.

July 12th, Monday.

The heavy rain continues, and Tyr was awakened by his roommate Constantine. However, due to unhealthy sleep, Tyr still has a slight headache until now.

Kagura Xiaoqi got up unusually early today, while in contrast, Claude, who usually wakes up the earliest, still hasn’t returned.

“Constantine.”

“What’s up?”

“Where did Claude go? He hasn’t come back yet.” Tyr’s inquiry made Constantine shiver, then he shook his head slightly.

“I don’t know, maybe he went out for a stroll.”

“Um…” Tyr recalled once again the words Claude said yesterday, wondering if he was out shopping like that.

But at that moment, the dormitory door was pushed open, and Claude stood at the entrance without stepping in. The three of them couldn’t help but feel puzzled as Claude stared straight at Tyr.

“Come with me,” he said, with no politeness in his tone. Not just Tyr, even the other two had never heard Claude speak in such a manner.

Sensing the seriousness of the situation, Tyr got up from the bed and walked towards Claude.

As Claude turned around, he led the way straight ahead without looking back. Constantine and the other person exchanged a glance before following suit.

In the end, Claude led Tyr out of the dormitory building, braving the rain, and arrived at the arena for the showdown.

“Come with me.”

“Claude, what are you up to?” Tyr asked in confusion. However, Claude didn’t say anything; instead, he walked straight into the magic pattern room. Tyr glanced at Constantine and the other person before following suit.

Claude wagered 10 points in his personal showdown match, then looked at Tyr.

“Accepted my challenge.”

Tyr remained silent, but instead of rejecting the other party, he walked to another core of the magic pattern to accept Claude’s application.

The two immediately disappeared into the magic pattern room. Constantine and Kagura Xiaoqi quickly opened the magic shadowstone. The scene suddenly showed a battlefield, a sea of corpses formed by the recent life-and-death struggle of the original inhabitants of the small world. Among them, Claude and Tyr confronted each other.

“Alright, can you speak now?” Tyr asked with a serious face. Claude remained expressionless, listening to the other’s words until a few seconds later before slowly speaking.

“I asked you yesterday. It’s been a day. What is your answer?”

“I am who I am. Who else could I be? Since you know my name is Tyr, why do you still ask who I am?”

Tyr replied to Claude’s cryptic question from yesterday, but Claude remained unfazed.

“Are you really Tyr?”

“Why wouldn’t I be?”

“So, take a look at this.” Claude casually threw a shadowstone over, which Tyr effortlessly caught. He then opened the shadowstone, and suddenly, a figure of Tyr appeared in the shadow.

And that happened to be the occasion when he unleashed the first move of the Heavenly Sword Heart technique.

Tyr’s pupils suddenly contracted, then he lifted his head with a grim expression.

“You’ve been following me?”

“Is this still important? Tell me your answer, who are you, and why do you have the same swordsmanship as Yuehai?” Claude’s tone intensified, his words becoming more forceful. However, Tyr was already in a bad mood, now being exposed like this and followed by someone. It seemed that even yesterday’s ugly behavior was seen through, and the suppressed anger was about to explode.

“Why should I tell you? Am I familiar with you? What right do you have to question me?”

“….So there really is something fishy going on here.”

“Haha, ridiculous. Even if there is something fishy, so what? What can you do about it? What do you want to do?”

Claude: “…Lord Tyr, is this your attitude?” Claude added a title, which immediately distanced the conversation between the two. Tyr was further provoked by this remark, and he finally spoke with a sarcastic tone.

“What does it have to do with you? Master Claude.”

Claude: “I have a lot of questions for you.”

Tyr: “Get lost! You hypocritical fake benevolent. What do you want this time? Playing detective? Hahaha.”

Claude: “I’ll ask one last time, is this your attitude?”

Tyr sensed a strong threat in Claude’s tone, which fueled his anger even more.

“What does my attitude have to do with you! Let me tell you, what does Yuehai’s affairs have to do with you! Just because you think you’re Yuehai’s savior gives you the right to interfere in her affairs? Who do you think you are!”

Claude’s pupils contracted, his heart thudding heavily. His gaze gradually lowered as a desolate breeze swept over the land littered with corpses, a foul stench assaulting his senses.

“It seems I have to resort to force to make you talk.”

“Come on then! You really think you’re invincible just because you’re the top talent in the northern empire? Trash!”
