Chapter 67: Senior brother feels that he deserves it
Sunlight streamed through the window, casting its warm glow into the plain hospital room. Outside the window, only the chirping of birds provided background music. At that moment, two soft knocks echoed from outside the door.
“Please come in!” Anping called out, thinking it might be Bai Yuexin coming to deliver breakfast.
“Ah… Senior brother, I came to see you,” Pei Lianxue said with a smile as she walked in. However, upon seeing Anping shirtless and being attended by the two young assistants, she took a sharp breath.
Just as Xiao Yunluo, following behind Lianxue, was about to greet them, Lianxue turned and pushed her aside, then closed the door with her foot.
Outside, Xiao Yunluo looked puzzled and asked, “Lianxue, what’s going on?”
“Senior brother is changing the dressing. You and I will wait outside for a while.”
