Chapter 6: Holy Light physique

“Ah, I see. However, before that, I hope you can pull me out of the ground. I would be immensely grateful for that,” Kaming made the request with a hint of sincerity. But seeing Tyr’s hesitant and somewhat repulsed expression, his anger started to surface.

“Kid, my divine armor is truly venom-free. You keep making that expression, even I, the big crab known for my good temper, can get angry. Besides, I’m a god, if I really wanted to deal with you, why would I beat around the bush? With divine power, I could blast your head off from 800 miles away.”

“Then show me, show me that so-called divine power,” Tyr seemed determined, as if he wouldn’t let it go until he saw it for himself. Despite Kaming already revealing a glimpse of his capabilities earlier, Tyr still harbored doubts. After all, in such a dangerous place, it never hurts to be cautious.

Kaming knew exactly what Tyr was thinking. He shook his exposed lower half and sighed.

“The youth of today…”

Suddenly, Tyr’s left arm emitted a strong glow, glaring in the darkness. However, it didn’t last long before the light gradually dissipated.

Tyr looked at his left hand in astonishment, then glanced at the large crab. “Mr. Kaming, what are you doing?”

Tyr didn’t find it particularly miraculous to make his arm glow, and he didn’t see how it related to divine power at all.

Kaming shook his eight-legged body towards the sky and said in an annoyed tone.

“Are you not aware of the injury to your own arm?”

Tyr’s heart skipped a beat as he untied the cloth from his hand and was shocked to find that besides the dried blood stuck to his skin, the wound had actually disappeared.

“It’s healed. How did you do this?”

“Although I’m not a deity specialized in healing, I can still perform simple tricks like healing broken bones and such for mortals. To a deity like me, your minor injury is as easy as blowing a breath.”

Kaming wiggled his butt, looking quite pleased with himself. This completely overturned Tyr’s previous perception of these green crabs.

Perhaps this guy is really super powerful.

Tyr reconsidered for a moment, then asked.

“So, Mr. Kaming, since you have such powerful divine abilities, why did you need me to help you pull it out of the ground? Such a trivial matter should be effortless for you.”

Tyr’s slightly respectful tone earned him a couple of approving ‘hmms’ from Kaming, who interjected, “Indeed, you little ones won’t understand how to respect deities unless you see some real power.”

“I must confess,” Kaming cleared his throat, appearing quite embarrassed, and the air of aloofness he once had diminished significantly.

“My deity sent me to monitor this region of the Sigril Empire. However, the deity’s intention was for me not to interfere too much in the affairs of this world, so I’ve been stuck in the ground here, using my ‘senses’ to survey the entire empire. But my deity is not without compassion. He restricted it so that only when a human accidentally comes here and pulls me out, then I regain my freedom to move throughout the entire Sigril Empire. Um, did you understand what I just said?”

“Sigril, so this place is the Sigril Empire,” Tyr exclaimed, then briskly walked to Kaming’s side, without hesitation, grabbed his two small legs, and with a determined effort, pulled him out!

“Wow!! What are you doing?!” Kaming jumped in fright, his composure completely lost in a sudden exclamation, but Tyr remained calm, dusting off the dirt from his hands.

“I’m pulling you out. Surprisingly simple, though.”

“Really, you should have given me some psychological preparation. Buried in the ground for nearly three hundred years, and you just pull me out without any heroic feeling,” Kaming protested discontentedly, raising his large crab claws.

Tyr cocked his head, completely unaware of what Kaming meant by heroic feeling. However, seeing Kaming so cheerful despite being buried in the ground for over three hundred years, Tyr found it unbelievable. If it were him, he’d probably have gone insane.

“Now that you’re out, Mr. Kaming, shouldn’t you answer my question? And you don’t seem like you’re going to kill me after being freed. So, let’s get back on track.”

Kaming nodded, then glanced at Tyr again, and continued speaking.

“To answer your previous question, it’s probably because your companion possesses a holy light physique, which prevents you from encountering any monsters along the way.”

“Holy light physique?”

“You don’t know? This should be common knowledge.”

“Sorry, but I only recently woke up and successfully lost all my previous memories.”

“Oh, that’s really unfortunate. Is your companion the same?”

“Yes.”

“Hmm…” Kaming muttered thoughtfully.

“That’s really strange.”

“What’s so strange?”

“Nothing much. I’ll explain the holy light physique to you first.” Kaming changed the subject, speaking quite seriously.

“The holy light physique is the possession of a strong affinity with the light element. Generally, an ordinary person with ten percent affinity with the light element can practice light element magic. If it exceeds fifty percent, it’s considered a luminous physique, excelling in the practice of light attribute magic. However, if it exceeds ninety percent, it’s considered a holy light physique. Not only does it possess remarkable talent in light magic, but it also has the ability to dispel low-level monsters. Um… I suppose you understand now.”

“Oh, I see. So the Holy Light physique is such a formidable thing. Then, what kind of physique do you think I have?”

Tyr eagerly extended his hands for Kaming to examine, but Kaming responded with a skeptical glance as if seeing through something trivial.

“As for you? Undoubtedly, it’s the Virgin Physique.”
