None of these witches are decent V2C12

Chapter 12: Did you say it or not?

Under the shade of the tree, numerous wooden crates were piled up. Surrounding the crates were many seriously injured members of the Phylin tribe, all resting with closed eyes.

“No wonder it’s Moluna!”

“That’s right! Yeah! Moluna is one of us!”

“But we are also courageous! The Phylin tribe is united!”

The uninjured Phylin tribe members cheer for Moluna, treating her like a noble queen. Even Loloan, who claims to be the strongest warrior in Wind Bird Town, praised Moluna.

“So impressive! So this is how witches fight!”

“Wow! I want to learn magic too!”

“No, I can’t betray my ideals!”

Moluna, with her expressionless face, accepted the admiration with a hint of satisfaction. No way, the Phylin people were really good at flattering, making it hard for Moluna not to be swayed. Even Loloan had to admit that without Moluna, they wouldn’t stand a chance against that bandit leader.

“Yeah,” Moluna nodded lightly, calmly accepting Loloan’s admiration.

“But, these bandits aren’t that tough at all!”

“Let’s go take down the other bandits now!”

“Yeah! Take down the other bandits! We’re staying on the ground!”

Under Moluna’s leadership, the Phylin tribe gained unparalleled courage and confidence. If someone asked non-Phylin tribe members how they view bandits, they would probably say, “Just so-so.”

This puzzled them, wondering why their elders were so wary of those bandits. If things continue this way, even if they let the Phylin tribe challenge Wind Veil Basin’s most formidable bandit group, they would probably dare to charge.

“Oh, right! What about that bearded guy?” Loloan remembered something crucial and quickly added.

Now, that leader was wrapped up like a rice dumpling, with only half of his face exposed. After all, that guy’s combat power was astonishing, and even with Moluna’s help, many Phylin tribe members still got injured.

If the Phylin tribe didn’t adhere to the principle of “not leaving anyone behind,” they might have lost a few members. So, to ensure he couldn’t escape, they put a lot of effort into tying him up securely.

They might have covered his nose if it weren’t to avoid suffocating the bandit leader.

As for whether this guy’s limbs might go numb due to being tied too tightly, that’s not the concern of the Phylin tribe.

“Let me go! You guys!” Feeling uncomfortable all over, the bandit leader couldn’t help but shout.

He was not a fool. He knew that if they continued tying him up like this, he might lose his lower half. He, being a habitual kidnapper, knew what constitutes reasonable restraint—what the Phylin tribe was doing now was definitely not reasonable and could result in casualties.

“Do you think we’re fools!?” The Phylin tribe looks at the bandit leader disdainfully.

Even they knew they couldn’t let the bandit leader go, or they would surely face retaliation.

Initially, they didn’t even want to keep this dangerous bandit leader, but Moluna insisted that he might be useful for Ron, so they reluctantly kept him.

Honestly, this guy caused widespread injuries among the Phylin tribe. Expecting them to be less vigilant was impossible.

“If you don’t let me go, I’ll kill all of you in a moment!” The enraged bandit leader, now fueled by anger, didn’t care about the consequences of his threats.

If it weren’t for Moluna, the witch, he wouldn’t have lost to these lowly Phylin tribe members. These Phylin tribe members, not even as tall as three of him stacked together, could easily crush one with just one hand.

“If you get the chance, I swear I’ll throw the Phylin tribe into a pot and cook them.”

“This guy is too vicious,” Loloan said, looking down at the bandit leader and prodding his face with a spear.

He could hardly imagine this guy winning a head-on fight against him. The bandit leader glared at Loloan, who took a small step back in fear. “Don’t mess with me!”

“Enough noise! We’re not scared!” Loloan pretended to be calm. “I’m just too injured!”

“Loloan! Aren’t you supposed to be the strongest warrior?” The Phylin tribe members protested.

“Enough noise! We’re not scared!” Loloan pretended to be calm. “I’m just too injured!”

The Phylin tribe hissed at Loloan and then began a heated discussion on how to deal with the bandit leader.

Which Phylin tribe member here hasn’t been injured? They’re all worse for wear!

“It’s too dangerous to leave him on the ground!”

“Then let’s hang him up! Hang him up!”

“Yeah! He’ll fall once he’s hung up, even if he breaks free!”

The Phylin tribe hung up the bandit leader, rejoicing around him.

Moluna crossed her legs, speaking casually, “Just don’t let him die. Wait for Lord Ron to come back.”

“No problem!” The Phylin tribe kept using sticks to hit the dangerous bandit leader, ensuring he stayed conscious.

Before long, the bandit leader was battered and bruised, unable to speak. Moluna watched the bandit leader’s sorry state with satisfaction. She didn’t expect the Phylin tribe to be so proactive.

However, soon, she sharply looks into the distance. It seemed someone was

s approaching. Then, she jumped down from the rock—she saw that the approaching person was none other than her Lord Ron.

At this point, Ron had followed the hints left by the Phylin tribe and found where the others were tending to their injuries.

“What are you all doing?” Ron, leading a group of Phylin tribe members, looked at the strangely suspended man with surprise.

Moluna rushed to Ron and said, “Lord Ron, your plan has succeeded!”

Ron was stunned, “My plan succeeded?”

“Yes, we held off those bandits at the cave entrance.” Moluna put on a slightly boastful expression.

“Huh?” Ron looked increasingly puzzled, with more and more question marks forming in his mind.

Held off the bandits at the cave entrance? What about the bandit leader?

“Who’s this guy again?” He points at the miserable man.

“Lord Ron, that’s the bandit leader,” Moluna explains triumphantly.

Ron and his group successfully infiltrated the cave. Even if they encountered setbacks, they still managed to infiltrate. Killing all the bandits at the cave entrance was equivalent to holding them off. As for the bandit leader, you could say he’s now captured.

So, Ron’s plan was indeed a success.
