Chapter 12: Wedding Gift
After more than half a year of not seeing him, Leon could only hope that this old dragon had learned the meaning of “enough is enough.”
“Sigh, let’s go.” Rosvitha sighed.
The couple resigned themselves to fate and took the children to the administration building.
When they arrived at the vice principal’s office, Rosvitha raised her hand and knocked on the door.
“Come in.”
The couple pushed the door open.
“Vice-Principal.” Rosvitha greeted.
When he heard the voice, Wilson immediately looked up. Seeing the couple, he jumped out from behind his desk.
“Long time no see! Long time no see, you two!”
The old dragon immediately grabbed Leon’s hand, “I thought you weren’t at the academy.”
Leon forced a smile, thinking If you had been five minutes later, my wife and I would have successfully escaped!
Wilson was about to say something else but was suddenly distracted by the little pink-haired girl in Leon’s arms.
He adjusted his single-frame glasses and exclaimed, “Is this your youngest daughter?!”
“……Yes, Vice-Principal,” Rosvitha replied.
“I didn’t expect that after just a few years of marriage, you two already have three daughters.”
Wilson was thrilled, looking at the little light-haired girl, then glancing at Muen, “In that case, please make sure your two little princesses also come to study at the academy. Noa’s performance is outstanding, so her sisters will probably be just as good.”
Rosvitha forced a smile, “Well… let’s talk about that later, Vice-Principal. They’re not old enough for school yet.”
After saying this, the Queen quickly changed the subject to avoid the old dragon inserting his thoughts, “Come on, Muen, say hello to Grandpa Wilson.”
“Hello, Grandpa Wilson~,” Muen said in a soft voice.
“Good, good, good, little princess, hello.”
Leon blinked, and his mischievous thoughts began to swirl.
I’ll make sure this old dragon gets a taste of his own medicine. Today, he’ll pay for all the times he tormented us.
He looked down at his little daughter, “Xiao Guang, do you want to say hello to Grandpa Wilson?”
Xiao Guang looked up, her pink pupils gazing at her father, “Okay.”
Leon smiled slightly, holding Xiao Guang, and passed his little treasure to Wilson.
“Vice-Principal, you can hold her too.”
Mr. Leon! That’s too kind!”
Wilson reached out his hand and slowly approached Xiao Guang.
The little pink-haired girl, looking harmless, gazed at the old man in front of her.
When he was about to hug her, she seized the moment—Uppercut!
Rosvitha gasped and quickly covered Muen’s eyes.
Wilson’s single-frame glasses sailed through the air in an elegant arc before landing on the floor.
“Vice-Principal, are you okay, Vice-Principal!” Leon asked concernedly.
“No, no, I’m fine…”
“The child doesn’t understand, she was just playing, Vice-Principal, please don’t mind it,” Leon explained.
“How could I mind?”
The vice-principal picked up his glasses, blew off the dust, and put them back on. “From the strength, Little Princess seems to be a good candidate for physical techniques. She will become a master in the future.”
And you, the old dragon, will become a punching bag, Leon muttered to himself.
Rosvitha looked at her husband and knew he was doing this on purpose.
However, Xiao Guang’s uppercut did give the couple a little satisfaction for all the “social death” moments they had suffered.
After the little incident, Wilson got back to business,
“I wasn’t the one who called you here.”
Rosvitha raised an eyebrow, “Who was it then?”
“It was the Headmaster.”
“Headmaster Angelina Olette is back?”
Rosvitha was surprised.
Headmaster Olette hadn’t appeared at the academy for quite some time.
Rosvitha had even begun to suspect that the academy was nearing Wilson’s complete takeover.
“Yes. The Headmaster just returned yesterday, and she might even attend this year’s entrance ceremony.”
Wilson said, “But that’s not what we’re here to discuss. Please follow me, I’ll take you to meet Headmaster Olette.”
“Alright.”
Wilson stepped forward.
The couple followed behind him.
Leon didn’t know much about Headmaster Angelina Olette.
He had heard Wilson mention her a long time ago, and then read about her in “A Brief History of the Dragon Clan.”
As for this headmaster, Leon had no particular expectations, just hoping she wouldn’t be as obsessed with shipping couples as the vice-principal.
Arriving at the Headmaster’s office, Wilson knocked three times on the door and respectfully said, “Headmaster Olette, the Melkeweh couple has arrived.”
“Mm, come in.”
The vice-principal pushed open the door and led the couple into the office.
“Thank you, Wilson.”
Leon turned his gaze to the voice.
Behind the desk sat a woman, who, from her appearance, looked similar to Rosvitha ‘s grandmother.
However, since the real age of dragons couldn’t be judged by appearance, Leon couldn’t tell how old the Headmaster truly was.
She sat gracefully, with a smile on her face, exuding an air of maturity and composure.
“No trouble, Headmaster.”
Wilson became rare serious, nodding slightly, and said respectfully, “Well, you two chat for a while, I’ll take care of some other work.”
“Alright, Wilson.”
The vice-principal turned and left.
Headmaster Olette looked at Leon and Rosvitha and made a gesture to invite them to sit, “Please, sit down.”
Rosvitha nodded and sat down with Leon at the desk.
The Headmaster’s gaze fell on the two little dragon daughters, and she smiled, praising them,
“Such adorable daughters. Are they both egg-born dragons?”
“Yes, Headmaster.”
“Mm, it looks like you’re not a traditional dragon family.”
We aren’t even fully a dragon family, can you believe it? Leon muttered in his mind.
After some simple pleasantries, Rosvitha asked, “Headmaster, we haven’t heard from you in so many years. What have you been up to?”
“Before I answer that question, I’d like to show you something first.”
Saying this, Headmaster Olette took a delicate small gift box from her desk drawer.
She pushed the box in front of Rosvitha and gently opened it.
Inside was a fine necklace.
The pendant was a milky-white crystal, sparkling with dazzling light under the sunlight.
“This is a gift from your grandmother, Veronica Melkeweh. She asked me to pass it to you as a wedding gift.”
