Chapter 21: My Mom and I Are Practicing in the Morning ( Part 2 )
Just as Leon was about to move in to take it, the next second, Roseweiser suddenly reached out, grabbed Leon’s collar, and pulled him toward her face.
Leon tilted his head slightly, his nose brushing against her beautiful chin, her silver hair wafting a soft fragrance on his cheek.
“If you want to hold my hand, just say it, dear~”
“If I say it, will you let me hold your hand?”
“No.”
“Tch, whether you let me or not, I’m holding it now, you can’t shake me off.”
It was fake, just holding hands, could it restrain the mighty Silver Dragon Queen?
If she wanted to pull away, she wouldn’t be wasting her time flirting with this dog-man.
Roseweiser was willing to spend time playing “couple games” with Leon.
With less than ten minutes before breakfast, the couple looked at each other, their tightly clasped hands feeling each other’s warmth.
Their black and silver eyes locked in a deep gaze, filled with longing and desire.
The next second, they simultaneously leaned toward each other’s lips.
Why not taste each other’s flavor before breakfast?
“Mom and Dad!”
“Uh—cough cough! Cough… Mmm…”
The hands that were just firmly intertwined instantly separated.
The couple quickly pulled back, turning their faces away, pretending nothing had happened.
“Ah… Munen, Xiao Guang, good morning.”
Leon rubbed his palms and stood up, “What’s got you up so early today?”
“Second sister needs something from you.”
Just as Xiao Guang was about to say more, she noticed her mother’s slightly flushed face and her father’s awkward expression. She then asked, “Mom and Dad, what were you just doing?”
“Nothing… nothing…”
“Nothing? Then why are you both blushing?”
“Uh, we were… um… exercising in the morning, yes, a morning exercise.”
Xiao Guang nodded and let out a long “Oh.”
“By the way, you said Munen needed something from me?”
Leon slowly crouched down, took Munen’s hand, and gently asked, “What’s the matter, Munen?”
“Dad, I want you to tutor me. The entrance test for Saint Xis Academy is in a month.” Munen said seriously.
Upon hearing this, Leon was slightly startled.
He didn’t respond immediately but turned to look at Roseweiser behind him.
Roseweiser also seemed surprised and walked forward, asking, “Why the sudden interest in going to school, Munen?”
“Because I want to spend more time with my sister.”
Roseweiser raised an eyebrow, “Is that so… you are quite attached to Noa.”
“Can I, Mom? I’ll work hard to study!”
Seeing how serious Munen looked, the couple exchanged a glance, and then Leon nodded,
“Okay, no problem. Dad will tutor you, but it’ll be hard work.”
“It’s okay, Dad. Munen will stick with it!”
The little dragon girl was full of confidence.
Leon also believed that his daughter would keep her word.
“Um… Dad.” Xiao Guang tugged at Leon’s sleeve from the side.
“What is it, Xiao Guang?”
“I also want… to try.”
“…What’s your reason?”
“Study hard, improve every day, and grow up to be a useful dragon to the Silver Dragon clan!”
Xiao Guang pounded her chest, her gaze determined as if she were about to enlist.
Leon eyed his little daughter skeptically, thinking, Sweetheart, are you sure you’re not just signing up to have fun at school?
…
If the daughters want to learn more, Leon certainly wouldn’t refuse.
But bringing up the reason for applying to the academy reminded General Leon of the reason Noa applied to Saint Xis Academy when she was just one year and two months old:
“To defeat more dragon slayers!”
It was heart-wrenching.
I wonder if the three daughters, after graduating from the academy, will submit their old father as their final project.
Well.
In any case, since Munen and Xiao Guang had made up their minds, Leon would certainly do his best to tutor them.
With a month to go before the next entrance test at Saint Xis Academy, the same timing as when Noa applied,
Leon was confident that both daughters would pass the test smoothly.
Noa was very talented, and Munen and Xiao Guang were no slouches either.
Little Moon, though lazy and Buddhist-like at times, only acted that way after having learned everything she needed to.
Most importantly, Leon wasn’t the type of parent to say, “You’ve learned it all, but why not preview ahead? You’re always playing!”
Putting too much pressure on children usually backfires.
As for Xiao Guang, there was no need to worry.
A natural-born scientist, studying was as simple for her as breathing—essential yet effortless.
In the future, Xiao Guang might even invent reverse spatial magic on her own; her research abilities are undeniable.
Moreover, Leon already had experience tutoring Noa, so this time, the father and his two daughters would ace the Saint Xis Academy entrance test—easy as pie~
“Though it sounds easy, did you forget something?”
That evening, after hearing Leon’s optimistic thoughts, Roseweiser raised the above question.
“I forgot… what?”
“Saint Xis Academy has always placed great emphasis on family education, so in addition to testing the young dragons, they also give parents an additional test.”
Roseweiser, wearing a thin, sheer nightgown, sat on the sofa in the living room, her long legs crossed and lazily leaning against the backrest, “When Noa enrolled, didn’t we also take that ‘cooperation test’?”
Leon suddenly realized.
What the mother dragon said was indeed true.
Saint Xis Academy had this rule.
He remembered that when Noa applied, he and Roseweiser weren’t very familiar with each other yet, so they had to stay up all night playing Truth or Dare to get to know each other better.
Looks like vice principal Wilson will have a happy moment this year.
Demasiado feliz 😂😂😂
