Yesterday is boring, today is boring, tomorrow is boring, good storys are never boring!

Shut up, malevolent dragon! I don’t want to have any more children with you V3C33 Part 1

Chapter 33:  Mamba, Otte! ( Part 1 )

The little pink-haired girl squinted and smiled, cuddling her great-grandmother, instantly forming an unbreakable bond.

From the hundreds-of-years-old dragons to the two- and three-year-old younger sisters, the Silver Dragon Princess Aurora of the Silver Dragon Tribe was all about catering to all ages.

“By the way, Grandma, since you’re not in a hurry to leave, how about we go take a family photo in Sky City tomorrow?” Isa suggested.

Veronica naturally had no objections, “Sure, it’s rare that our family is all together.”

Upon hearing the word “family,” Isa blinked, put down her knife and fork, pressed her lips together, and tentatively asked,

“Grandma, even though you’ve never wanted to talk about our parents… after all these years, could you at least tell us if they’re still alive?”

From the timeline, over two hundred years ago, the dragon race had been going through a significant civil strife.

One day they were allies, the next day they were drawing swords.

So, the death of dragon kings was a common occurrence.

Isa had always thought that the reason Grandma rarely mentioned their parents was probably because they had died in the internal strife of the dragon race.

Hearing this, Loisver also looked up at her grandmother. For years, she too had been waiting for this answer.

Seeing the two sisters bring up the topic again, Veronica sighed softly,

“Alright, since you’ve both become qualified kings, it’s time you knew the truth about your parents.”

“Isa, you just asked if they’re still alive.”

“I can tell you with certainty, yes, they are still alive.”

The sisters were visibly excited after receiving such a clear answer.

Isa opened her mouth, ready to ask more, but was interrupted by her grandmother’s raised hand.

“I know what you want to ask, Isa, but I can’t tell you exactly where they are or what they’re doing. I can only tell you this: your parents are involved in a great cause, one far greater than the exploration project we had in the far north.”

With that, Veronica lowered her head and calmly resumed cutting her steak, as if the previous question and answer had never happened.

Seeing this, Loisver and Isa exchanged a knowing glance and decided not to press further.

Knowing that their parents were still alive was enough.

As long as they were alive, they would meet again one day.

After the slightly heavy topic, the family began talking about the children.

After all, it was a rare family meal, so it was better to focus on happier topics.

After dinner, the maids came to clean the dining room.

León’s family also went to their guest rooms to rest early.

It was the familiar couple’s suite, and the two were used to it.

At midnight, on the roof of the Red Dragon Sanctuary, Isa leaned lightly against the railing, holding a bottle of red wine. Without a glass, she simply drank straight from the bottle.

Her beautiful face was slightly flushed from the alcohol, and the cool night wind lifted her long hair, making her look like a flame burning in the night.

Before long, the door to the roof opened, and Veronica walked over.

“You’re still up, Grandma.”

“You’re sneaking drinks again.” Veronica stood next to Isa, her tone slightly stern.

Isa, with her tipsy face, smiled and awkwardly placed the bottle aside. “I’m done drinking, done drinking.”

“You used to sneak into the wine cellar with Loisver to drink my wine, and now she’s just like you, wanting a drink whenever she has some free time.”

“Ah, Grandma, how could we, as queens, not know how to drink? It’s one of the ways to win the hearts of the people!” Isa said confidently, her mind still sharp, which showed she wasn’t that drunk.

Veronica rolled her eyes at her granddaughter but couldn’t help but smile. “You two… always making me worry.”

Isa wrapped her arm around her grandmother’s shoulder, resting her cheek against hers, “In front of others, we are high and mighty kings, but in front of you, we’re still the little girls who don’t understand anything~”

“A two-hundred-year-old little girl?”

“Tch~ As long as I’m not married, I’ll always be a little girl.”

“Well, your sister isn’t. She’s been married for three years.”

At this, Isa suddenly remembered something, “By the way, Grandma, when Loisver came last time, I saw her new necklace. She said it was a wedding gift from you.”

“That’s right. What about it? Do you want one too?”

“Of course, of course!”

“Then go get married, and I’ll give it to you.”

With that, the Red Dragon Queen took her grandmother’s hand and started stamping her feet in a spoiled way, “I’m anti-marriage, Grandma, you know that. Just give it to me, please~”

Taking advantage of a bit of alcohol, Isa wouldn’t usually be this intimate with her grandmother.

It was as if, give her a bed, and she’d start rolling on the floor asking for gifts.

Veronica shook her head and laughed, then took out a delicate little gift box from her pocket.

“Here, this is for you.”

Isa froze in her spoiled motion, the alcohol wearing off quickly. “Oh, Grandma, you’re really giving it to me?”

“Open it and see.”

Isa nodded, opening the gift box. Inside was an emerald signet ring.

It was set with a milky-white crystal, clear and translucent.

Isa recognized the jade, but the material of the crystal… she hadn’t seen before. “Grandma, this crystal…”

“Primordial Crystal,” Veronica didn’t hide it.

“Primordial… Crystal?”

Isa’s thoughts shifted as she suddenly remembered, “I recall that last week, when Konstantin attacked our sanctuary, Loisver also used something called primordial power… Grandma, you’re giving this to her because of…”

“The necklace I gave her also has the same crystal.”

Veronica said, “But I didn’t tell her about it.”

Isa furrowed her brows. “Why?”

Veronica slowly looked at her granddaughter, meeting her red eyes.
