Yesterday is boring, today is boring, tomorrow is boring, good storys are never boring!

Shut up, malevolent dragon! I don’t want to have any more children with you V3C38 Part 2

Chapter 38: Revive It! My CP! ( Part 2 )

Leon closed his eyes and took a deep breath, “Vice-Principal, you’ve said enough!”

He couldn’t hold back any longer and interrupted the vice-principal’s immersive analysis.

If this continued, tomorrow Leon would be filling out divorce papers with Rosevessa.

The old guy adjusted his single-frame glasses, still looking serious, “Mr. Leon, you’re really eager to save your marriage with Miss Rosevessa, aren’t you?”

Faced with the vice-principal’s endless questioning, Leon suddenly felt a surge of anger.

This fire shot straight to his head, “No, Vice-Principal, my wife and I are doing just fine.”

“Stop lying to me, Mr. Leon. I can see it, you and Rosevessa are already—”

“I’ll show you!”

“Eh?”

With that, Leon bypassed the vice-principal, pushed open the side room door, and marched straight toward Rosevessa, who was still waiting in the lobby.

Seeing Leon storming toward her, Rosevessa thought maybe she had said something that upset him earlier.

“Hey… Leon, what are you doing? Can’t you talk to me normally? We—mm?! Mm!”

In front of the stunned parents and the vice-principal, Leon grabbed Rosevessa by the waist and kissed her soft lips without hesitation.

Their lips met, and it was passionate and lingering.

Rosevessa didn’t react at first, symbolically tapping Leon’s arm a couple of times.

But she quickly got lost in the sudden kiss.

Although she had no idea what was happening… who could resist a crazy kiss from a man having a sudden outburst?

“What’s going on? Is this part of the family interview?”

“Wow… Isn’t that the dragon hero Casmod and his wife? Just like the legends, they’re so loving!”

“Disgraceful! A scandal! Quick, go get the Discipline Committee!”

“Shh, even the Discipline Committee is shipping them.”

“…”

The kiss didn’t last long.

Leon quickly released Rosevessa.

The beautiful woman’s delicate face was tinged with a light blush. After a moment, she looked around in confusion, “Wh-What just happened? What was that?”

“He kept saying there was a crisis in our marriage.”

“…And then?”

“Then I had to prove to him that there’s nothing wrong with our marriage!”

Rosevessa blinked, then playfully smacked Leon’s chest, both annoyed and amused, “You impulsive idiot… now all our performance in the interview was wasted!”

Leon, calming down, quickly loosened his hold on her waist.

But before he could explain, the vice-principal’s ecstatic voice rang from behind.

“My CP—revived!”

Outside the teaching building, Leon and Rosevessa sat on a bench. Rosevessa was holding the orange-flavored ice cream that Leon had just bought her, looking down at her shoes, smiling faintly.

“The vice-principal said that little scene just now won’t affect our interview results, so…”

“Our ‘no social death’ plan was still a success.”

Leon looked up, seeing the parents walking by.

Everyone was talking about the kiss he had just planted in the teaching building.

“Did it really succeed… but why does it feel like people are more focused on us now?”

“Who do you think caused all this with their impulsive behavior?”

“Ah…”

Life isn’t easy, Leon sighed.

The queen raised her hand and patted his shoulder, “It’s alright, you’re only in your twenties. Impulsiveness is normal. When you’re my age, you’ll be more steady.”

“When I’m your age, it won’t be steadiness, it’ll be sinking to the bottom,” Leon said. “The ashes will be at the bottom.”

Rosevessa lightly bumped him, “Go, stop talking nonsense.”

Leon helplessly laughed, “Well, anyway, the interview results are just fine, and we don’t have to worry about a social death at the opening ceremony.”

Rosevessa nodded, “Mm, as long as the daughters perform normally, it’ll be fine.”

The couple’s tension was finally eased—

But, can they really relax?

Meanwhile, in the dragon testing arena, a certain pink-haired dragon had already discovered the next big scoop.

Twenty minutes ago, the first subject of the young dragon’s entrance test had ended, and there were still four more subjects to be tested.

Little Light sat at the back of the classroom, watching the little test-takers of different races, thinking about how to find some fun in such a serious place.

At that moment, Mu’en walked up to her.

“Little Light.”

“What’s wrong, Second Sister?”

“Are you feeling unwell?” Mu’en asked seriously.

Little Light blinked and shook her head, “No, Second Sister, why do you ask?”

“I noticed that during the exam, you spent half the time resting your head on the desk. Aren’t you feeling unwell?”

“Ah… well, it wasn’t half the time, that’s an exaggeration. Maybe just a quarter~”

Seeing that her little sister could still joke around, Mu’en wasn’t too worried, but she still cautioned, “If you’re feeling unwell, be sure to tell the invigilator right away.”

“Mm-hmm, I know, Second Sister.”

Actually, Little Light wasn’t deliberately slacking off in the exam hall. She was doing something “big” — controlling her score!

As the name suggests, controlling the score means keeping the score within a desired range.

It’s usually something that bored geniuses do to show off.

But Little Light wasn’t controlling her score to show off; she just wanted to make sure she was in the ‘middle’ range.

It’s well known that if you want to enjoy the fun, you should never aim to be the top scorer, no matter the field.

Because all attention will be focused on the “leader” of the group.
