Chapter 59: Disciples Need Not Be Inferior to Their Masters
Early morning.
A light mist enveloped the small village by the lake, as if it had not yet woken up, sinking into a deep slumber.
Occasionally, birds flew by in the sky, hurriedly departing, seeking warmth in the south before the cold autumn arrived.
Everything was as usual, so peaceful.
A dignified young girl dressed in black and white maid attire walked into the village, stepping on the morning dew.
“It won’t be wrong.”
An stood at the village entrance, squinting as her gaze swept over the small fishing village with only a few dozen households. Her delicate nose twitched, as if discerning something.
Finally, she asserted confidently, “The young master has been to this place, and it was within the last few hours!”
“I finally found you.”
A captivating smile appeared at the corner of An’s mouth, carrying her anticipation of finding her beloved. With that hope in her heart, she stepped into the village.
“Hmm?”
An suddenly turned her head, looking towards a very inconspicuous house.
In that tightly shut window, in the darkness where not even a trace of light could penetrate, something seemed to stir for a moment.
But when her gaze shifted over, beyond the tattered wooden window, there was only an empty room, devoid of anything.
“Was it just an illusion?”
An glanced at it briefly, then paid it no further attention.
She had come to find her beloved young master; everything else was unimportant.
…
I love you, you know.
…
“Knock, knock.”
Going with his intuition, An arrived at a house with the strongest young master’s aura, then knocked on the door.
“Who’s there?”
From inside the courtyard came a familiar voice, still drowsy.
An paused for a moment before recognizing the owner of that voice, thinking to himself, “Could it be this coincidental?”
But before she could dwell on it, the door creaked open, and the newlywed bride, still half-asleep, poked her head out, rubbing her eyes.
“So early, what’s the matter?”
“Eluka?”
“Hmm?”
Eluka, upon hearing the familiar voice, struggled to open her eyes. Once she fully saw the person in front of her, most of her drowsiness instantly disappeared.
“Master!”
Eluka rushed over in excitement, grabbing An’s arm.
“Why are you here?”
“I…”
“Are you here to see me?”
Before An could answer, Eluka grew even more delighted.
“Hmm, that’s strange. I don’t recall telling the Master the exact location of my home. I only mentioned the general area of the village, right? How did the Master find this place?”
I followed the young master’s scent.
An intended to say this, but Eluka, chattering away in excitement, didn’t give her a chance to speak.
“Never mind that. Let’s not dwell on such matters. Master, come in quickly; it’s cold outside.”
“No, I just…”
“Come on, Master. It’s rare for you to come over. Can’t you at least come in and sit for a while?”
Eluka put on a sorrowful expression, feigning to squeeze out two tears. “I’m so sad…”
An sighed, feeling a bit resigned. Well, it won’t hurt to stay for a bit.
“Alright, I’ll stay for a while, but only for a short time…”
“A short time is enough!”
Eluka’s joy knew no bounds as she pulled An into the house, chattering all the way like a spring sparrow.
“Master, are you wearing maid attire? It’s so cute.”
“Master, you seem to have lost weight. Have you not been eating properly lately?”
“Master, how did you come so early? Did you travel through the night?”
“Master, you…”
…
Inside the house, being forcibly seated by Eluka, An unconsciously surveyed the entire room.
Sure enough, the scent of the young master was strong here. He had definitely been here!
And not long ago!
“Eluka.”
“Yes, Master? Is there something you need?”
Eluka, busy making tea in the kitchen, peeked out.
“Here…?”
An carefully chose her words. “Have you had any other guests recently?”
“Guests? Isn’t the Master the guest?”
“No, I mean before me.”
“Before you… you mean Mr. Muen.”
“Exactly. Is he here?”
Excitement sparkled in An’s eyes. It seemed her two days of hard work were finally paying off.
Young master, this time, I won’t let you go.
An silently clenched her fist.
“Well, he was here last night, but he’s already gone.”
“Gone?”
“Yeah, maybe I scared him off.”
At this point, Eluka blushed like a young maiden and pouted, “It’s all Mr. Muen’s fault. Who asked him to peek into my bedroom in the middle of the night?”
“Peek into your bedroom?” An’s breath caught in her throat.
Unconsciously, her clenched fist tightened.
Young master, my bedroom door has never been closed when I sleep at night, but I’ve never seen you sneak in.
Why would you peek into another woman’s bedroom?
Is the grass always greener on the other side?
“Ah, it’s not what you think, Master.”
As if sensing An’s thoughts, Eluka hurriedly waved her hands. “Mr. Muen didn’t see anything inappropriate. He just saw a little game scene that promotes affection between me and my husband.”
“Mr.?”
Hearing this address, An couldn’t help but twitch slightly, then quickly regained his composure.
“Did you succeed?”
“Yeah, I did it.”
Eluka’s face lit up with a happy smile. With her hands behind her back and toes lightly scraping the ground, she shyly continued, “After being encouraged by my master two days ago, I confessed to Adan that same night!”
“Is that so?”
An couldn’t help but smile faintly.
“That’s great.”
An didn’t inquire about the outcome of the confession, nor did she ask about the process.
Because, in her view, those things weren’t important.
What mattered was being able to completely possess the person she loved, by any means necessary.
And now it seemed the girl had succeeded.
However, it irked An slightly that her disciple had achieved the goal before her. It seemed next time she found the young master, she would need to employ more aggressive tactics.
“Oh, by the way, does the Master want to take a look?”
Eluka’s eyes lit up, excitedly clapping her hands. “Come and see the fruits of my hard work.”
“This…” An was originally inclined to refuse, after all, she was still busy searching for the young master.
But then she suddenly thought that she couldn’t just shut herself off from everything. Although nominally she was the master, there was no harm in absorbing the experiences of others.
“Alright, let me take a look, Eluka.”
…
“Ta-da! Master, look, this is my dearest, most beloved husband.”
Inside the room, Eluka introduced her carefully “trained” lover to An as if unveiling some significant ceremony. The man, still crawling on the ground like a pet dog, wore a collar and only simple underwear.
“Oh, this is the kind of game you’re playing? Quite interesting,” An remarked.
Learned something new.
An looked at the man, not showing any surprise at his appearance. Instead, she casually stroked her chin and praised, “Well done, Eluka.”
“Hehe, I’m probably still far behind compared to Master.”
Blushing shyly at the praise, Eluka scratched her head.
“I think if it were Master, you would definitely make your beloved completely submit, both physically and mentally.”
