Yesterday is boring, today is boring, tomorrow is boring, good storys are never boring!

Shut up, malevolent dragon! I don’t want to have any more children with you V3C27 Part 1

Chapter 27: This is our blood-pumping combo technique! (Part 1 )

Leon seized the opportunity, holding the Thousand Birds in his hand, and charged into the already-weakened fire.

He dashed through the firewall, bent low, and as his Thousand Birds scraped across the expensive lawn Isa had bought,

“Brother-in-law, you have to help my sister plow the fields, huh! On behalf of the Melkway family, thank you!”

Isa’s shout was drowned out by the sound of a Thousand Birds.

Leon became a blue streak of light, dashing toward Konstantin.

Facing this resurrected “old friend,” Leon didn’t dare to slack off.

He had just witnessed that even Konstantin’s first move required the combined efforts of Roseweiser and Isa, two Dragon Kings, to resist.

The monster in front of them was no longer just the ‘Crimson Flame Dragon King’; it had much more powerful and complex powers.

As he thought, Leon struck out with Thousand Birds, hitting Konstantin’s abdomen.

This strike caused Konstantin to stop his charge.

However, Leon’s expression grew grim.

The moment Thousand Birds hit Konstantin’s body, the electric energy in Leon’s hand completely dissipated.

It vanished like fire meeting water—without a trace.

“How could this happen…”

“Le…on…!!”

The monster let out a hoarse, eerie scream, then burst forth with energy, sending Leon flying back.

After regaining his balance and standing upright, Leon muttered,

“Made into a monster, yet still recognizes me… So… how much do you hate me?”

Roseweiser and Isa ran up, standing on either side of Leon.

“Did you learn anything?” Roseweiser asked.

“His defense is much stronger than I thought.”

Leon’s tone was low, “A full-strength Thousand Birds didn’t have any effect on him.”

Hearing this, Isa raised an eyebrow and glanced at her brother-in-law. She carefully sized up this man but didn’t say anything.

“This time, let’s try together,” Roseweiser said.

Leon nodded, “Alright.”

The three of them assumed their attacking stances and charged toward Konstantin.

Meanwhile, on a mountain in the distance, Scott stood with his hands behind his back,

“I didn’t expect it to be this easy.”

Fer glanced at him, “What do you mean?”

“We initially planned to have Konstantin attack the Red Dragon Tribe to draw Leon out, so he would lose his home-field advantage.”

Scott said, “But unexpectedly, he conveniently showed up here tonight, saving us the trouble of waiting for him to come.”

Fer’s eyes shifted, “The dragons rarely interact, Mr. Scott. It seems the Empire has had some good fortune.”

Scott smirked, tilting his chin,

“You see, Fer, the ‘ultimate creature’ the Empire poured countless efforts into creating is so perfect that even under the siege of Leon and the two Dragon Kings, it still maintains the advantage. Such strength… isn’t it exactly what your dragons have always craved?”

Fer listened silently without responding.

He narrowed his eyes, watching the resurrected Konstantin in the distance.

Even facing the combined forces of Leon Casmod and the Silver and Red Dragon Kings, Konstantin was still holding his ground.

Indeed, the crazy Crimson Flame Dragon King had acquired the power and body he always dreamed of.

But he had become a puppet,

Without thought, without will, unable to control even the simplest breath.

What’s worth craving about strength gained at the cost of ‘freedom’?

Fer smiled faintly, “Indeed, it’s powerful strength, Mr. Scott. I hope you can control it tightly.”

“Not just this power.”

Scott smiled, “In the future, the Empire will control even more, stronger forces.”

“Take the size of the bowl you can handle, or else you might choke. Little human, I hope you understand this.”

Fer glanced at Scott but didn’t say more, continuing to observe the battle.

Outside the Red Dragon Temple, Leon slammed into a pavilion, instantly reducing it to rubble.

“Brother-in-law, that pavilion was expensive too!!” Isa cried out in frustration.

General Leon crawled out of the rubble, dusting himself off and wiping the blood from his mouth, “It’s fine, sis, my wife will compensate you.”

Roseweiser:?

He walked back toward the two sisters, looking at the towering stitched monster in front of him with a worried tone, “I have no idea how to hurt that thing…”

After several exchanges, Leon and the others’ magical attacks did not affect Konstantin.

The defensive power of the Steel Mammoth’s body exceeded everyone’s comprehension.

“Do you still have enough magic power?” Roseweiser asked.

Leon clutched his chest and shook his head slightly, “Not much left.”

It had been just over a month since Leon’s heroic ‘Ten-Second Six-Dragon Kill,’ and his magic power had barely recovered.

Moreover, the side effects of the Nine Hells Gate weren’t entirely gone, and Leon’s body still felt uncomfortable.

“So, brother-in-law, your body’s like a battery now?” Isa teased.

“Sis… I can’t joke at a time like this.”

Leon rarely found dragon slaying to be difficult.

But now, this was one of those times.

Isa smiled faintly, then looked at Roseweiser,

“Little Rose, use that move.”

Roseweiser nodded, “Alright.”

Leon was stunned, “Wait, what move? It’s not some attack that hurts the enemy by a thousand and damages us by twelve hundred, is it?”

“Not just that, brother-in-law, this move of ours, if it fails, will sever our meridians at best, or at worst, we’ll both die.”

“….No, no way, sis! Even if things are tricky, it’s not to the point of a suicidal attack. Trust me, I still have my trump card left.”

Hearing that his wife might die, General Leon certainly wouldn’t agree to that.

It was not worth dying together over a recently resurrected defeated enemy!

“Stop scaring him, sis.”

Seeing her husband care so much about her, Roseweiser felt warm inside.

But now wasn’t the time to feel good; any enjoyment had to wait until the problem was solved.

“It’s just a linked technique, my sister and I have practiced it before, but this is the first time we’re using it. Hopefully, it works.” Roseweiser said.

“Ah…”

Did I just fall for a trick? Leon wondered in his mind.

“Go, Little Rose.”

“Mm!”
